Merging Ideas

After having a discussion about our projects I decided to merge projects with one of my classmates. Our ideas were similar and we both wanted to carry them out in the same way so we thought it was a good idea to bring them together. Although there is someone I can now bounce ideas off of I feel as though there may be a bit of "conflict" because we may have different visions when it comes to the way we decide to go about the project and the final product.

Moving Forward

While thing about my project i decided that i wanted to turn my campaign into a promotional video on self esteem/image. For this video i want to interview a few people and get their take on self esteem/image. I want to have these interviews recorded so that once I have all my interviews done I want to edit all the mini videos into one large video.

Choosing/Developing an idea

For my personal project, I decided I want to develop a marketing campaign to promote a teen issue. The issue I chose to center this campaign around is self image. There is a lot of pressure coming from peers, school, television, and images online as well as magazines to be/look/act a certain way.The way we view ourselves heavily influences our live and/or the decisions we make. I want to show how easily we can be affected and the long term effects of this issue. My goal is to raise awareness to this issue and to show how this can be prevented and if it is already effecting a teen, how to help them gain a better view of themselves.
